Holiday Recipes

For the holidays, I always enjoy making treats to bring to different functions or get togethers.  My usual line-up includes an old family recipe Christmas cookie, peanut butter balls, the Star of Bethlehem cookies (the peanut butter ones with the Brach’s star on top), and usually white almond bark covered pretzels.
Last Saturday I decided to branch out and Tess and I made Russian Tea Cakes.  This was my first attempt at making them and although I did cook them too long, they still tasted fab!  We are planning on making a second batch before Christmas so I can get the timing right on my oven (aka follow the recipe) and because these are almost all gone. ;)  This is a really simple recipe, so it is a fun one to do with the kiddos or to make if you are running short on time.  You can find the recipe by clicking on the link below.
There are a ton of other recipes that I have found on Pinterest and I am dying to give them a try.

I Love The Crunched Up Candy Canes on Top

The Recipe Says These Can Be Done In 7 Minutes?!

If It Says "Krispy" In The Name...I Know I'll Love It

I Think These Would Be Great For Hot Chocolate!

Has anyone tried any of these before?  Or, do you have suggestions on others you would like to share?  If you want to see the full recipe for any of these, check out my page on Pinterest.  You can link via the blog too.
