For the holidays, I always enjoy making treats to bring to different functions or get togethers. My usual line-up includes an old family recipe Christmas cookie, peanut butter balls, the Star of Bethlehem cookies (the peanut butter ones with the Brach’s star on top), and usually white almond bark covered pretzels.
Last Saturday I decided to branch out and Tess and I made Russian Tea Cakes. This was my first attempt at making them and
although I did cook them too long, they still tasted fab!
We are planning on making a second batch before Christmas so I can get
the timing right on my oven (aka follow the recipe) and because these are
almost all gone. ;) This is a really
simple recipe, so it is a fun one to do with the kiddos or to make if you are running short on time. You can find the recipe by clicking on the link below.
