I’m sure some of you have tried the Younique 3D
mascara. But for those of you who
haven’t, I’m here to tell you that you should!
I am by no means a make-up guru.
In fact, I’m not very good at applying it myself but I love make-up and
I love to feel pretty.
A neighbor of mine (Sheila) started selling Younique and
this summer I decided to give the mascara a try. I was a bit confused as to how it
worked. I wasn’t sure if I had to apply
the lashes with glue or if they stuck on with some other type of adhesive or
what. After having a few of my questions
asked, I purchased a kit and gave it a whirl. First, you apply regular mascara or the "gel" that comes with the kit. Then you add the fiber lashes which are applied with a mascara wand as well. Finally, you top with another coat of gel mascara to make them stick. I will admit that the first two or three applications that I did were
just sub-par. I finally gave in and read
the directions (this is when I realized I wasn’t doing it correctly) and my
lashes looked amazing! I had three patients at the clinic ask me what
mascara I was using and/or if my lashes were real that week.
If you haven’t branched out to try this yet, treat yourself
for the holidays. Or better yet, have a
loved one “surprise” you with this great Christmas gift. I’m sure most of you have seen that I am
having an online mascara party. This
starts today and will continue for at least five days. I am not doing this to pressure any of you
into purchasing. I gave in and tried the
mascara for myself and because I was so happy with the results, I wanted to
share the news with all of you. If you
have already been using the mascara, go ahead and delete yourself from the
party. I won’t be offended. ;) If anyone has any questions, just let Sheila
