I Sleep A Wink

I really do not know if an issue of mine is something all females face or if there is an alarm that goes off in your body the second you give birth to a child; but in either case, I am no longer a sound sleeper.

One of the kiddos will cough, a car will drive by, the hubby will begin to snore and that’s the end of a peaceful nights’ sleep for me.  I awaken to such a sound and then I have to begin the difficult task of falling asleep again.  I find myself lying there for minutes on end to ensure that it will stay quiet before I can begin to rest.

This seems to be happening two to three times a night.  Now subtract that time from the seven hours of interrupted sleep I average a night; multiply this by the last three and a half years and I believe the math adds up to
…..me always being tired!
I am hoping some of you beautiful ladies out there can relate to this.  With the demands of schedules now days it seems like we are constantly on the move.  Sleep is oh so critical, yet very few of us actually attain decent REM sleep.

Am I the only one with this special gift?
