1. Turning Circles
Another week, another illness for Mr. Brady. This week the little guy was diagnosed with
strep throat and due to high fevers and his behavior, they placed a catheter to
gather a urine sample. The cultured results
from that sample were….(we’re still waiting!)
This is the third round of antibiotics for Brady yet somehow
he continues to become ill. His
procedure was on October 5th with his first round of antibiotics
beginning on October 3rd. Today
is November 6th, so it has been exactly 35 days since that first
dose. When I calculated this all out,
Brady has been on antibiotics for 24 days out of those 35.

What is happening?! Well, our pediatrician and a clinical team at Iowa City are wondering the same thing. Not too comforting for this momma. I am ready for some clear cut answers.

| The Hubs Puts On Whatever Socks He Can Find When The Need To Get To The Doctor Is Urgent...Poor Boy! |

When I have products or items that I really like, I want to pass on the memo to others. This lotion is everything. I went to an Aveda salon in Omaha and they would always give me a hand massage before my cut/color (smart marketing, huh?). I fell in love with the lotion then and have used it here and there ever since. I just got a new bottle in October, hence the pink embellishments. It’s the perfect fresh scent!
3. War-drobe
I don’t know about you ladies out there, but my wardrobe
needs a revamping! I feel like seasons
come and go so quickly and even though I want to make some purchases, I lack at
doing so and then I find myself back to that season with the same old, same
old! I want to get some new, reasonable,
items in my closet. I follow some
fashion bloggers for inspiration and clothing ideas. Lately I have “liked” a few to see where they
purchased their duds. I stumbled across
this cardigan sweater/coat that I knew was the IT piece! I am in love, I have made up my mind it’s
going to be my newest investment, and then…I realize its $895. Say what?
I don’t think so. So much for “everyday”
items from that gal, ha! Looks like I
will attempt to find a duplicate of that cardigan! Is anyone else playing war with their
wardrobe these days? Suggestions
welcome!
Side Note: I have
been wearing a different bracelet since my “Tessa” one broke and yesterday I
broke the replacement one taking off my gloves at the clinic! Now I’m really bracelet naked. L
4. Glasses
I have had a few people comment lately that they had no idea
that I wore glasses! Yep, I’ve had them
since the 7th grade actually.
I realized this month, actually quite often thanks to Tess who wants me
to show her some gymnastics moves ;), that I’m getting old. And what that means is, so are my eyes! I find myself wearing my specks every day for
nearly all activities besides driving.
Eek! #gettingoldisn’tfun
5. In-Laws
The in-laws flew in from California last night for a long
weekend. I love having family visit! We’re sure to have an awesome weekend
together even though there isn’t anything particular that we are going to
do. Sometimes those are the best
weekends though, right? With their early
morning flight, time change differences, and daylight savings….this was my
sight before I took off for the clinic this morning. Pretty precious!
Have a great first weekend of November folks!
