I am an immense believer in the power of prayer and because
of that I want to share a story.
My dear friend from high school is enduring some trying
times. Ten years ago, her husband was
diagnosed with brain cancer. He has partaken
in yearly check-ups since his initial diagnosis; all which have come back
clear. This year’s appointment marked ten
years since those initial days. They looked
forward to having an extraordinary celebration on behalf of this fete, but
instead were given the news that the tumor is back.
Many can only conceive how difficult it would be to face a
situation like this with your loved one.
But for them, they have to repeat the process, the emotions, the
thoughts, etc., with the addition of three sweet children to their family.
Surgery took place yesterday to remove the tumor. My friend is apprising everyone on details
via her blog. I encourage you to read
their story and send a prayer their way.
